Step 2:
Prototyping and testing
We build it, the operators test it. What they find shapes the final product before anything goes into production.
From scope to prototype
Once the requirements are defined, we develop a physical prototype. The first one typically takes around a month, depending on the scope. Direct dialogue and short decision paths keep the distance from question to prototype short.
Tested in the real world
Operators test the prototype in their own setup, with their own equipment and carrying systems. However good the design, real-world testing is what counts. Nothing goes into production until the operators have verified that it meets their requirements.
Feedback into the next version
What the operators tell us goes straight into the next prototype version. We repeat until the fit, the access and the way it carries work for the people using it – whether that means under stress, in the dark or with cold hands.

Tell us what the equipment is and what you'd like to test. We're happy to bounce ideas and early concepts around – no commitment needed.
